Disneyland Paris located in the Paris suburb of Marne-la-Vallée, is the second Disney theme park resort to open outside the United States, after Tokyo Disney Resort. Disneyland Paris consists of two parks, Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park, and a shopping district, Disney Village.
On 6th May, we went to only Disneyland Park and took a wheelchair for my wife. The main mode of transportation is walking. Disneyland is divided into four themed sections : Discoveryland, Frontierland, Adventureland and Fantasyland and the central shopping and information area is Main Street USA.
Disneyland Paris is quite huge and if you don’t plan properly, you may miss quite a no. of important items. Download the Parc de Disneyland app, which is an incredibly useful app. This provides park hours, parade schedules and show times, as well as information about wait times and disabled access and most importantly it gives a comprehensive interactive map.
We visited Main Street USA, Sleeping Beauty Castle, Disneyland Park, Disney Rides, Windmill, Chesire the cat in Alice’s Curious Labyrinth, Captain Hook’s Pirate Ship, and lots of Fountains.
Prices for food and drink in the park is pretty high and it may be very good idea to pack some sandwiches to eat in the specially set-up picnic tables in the park.
