We visited the magnificient palace with the help of the audio guide However, since it was raining we could not move around the palace’s grounds and gardens.
We visited the King’s and Queen’s chambers, with seven salons each dedicated to a different god (Apollo, Mars, Mercy, Venus, etc.). Also we saw the stunning Hall of Mirrors from where we could have views of the palace’s beautiful gardens.
Next we visited the grand chapel, War room, gallery of great battles, and a no. of lovely paintings and sculptures of Louis XVI, Glory holding a portrait of Louis XV and La Parnassse Francais.
After the visit of the palace we returned to our hotel in Paris to get ready to go back to India the next day
